Sphere LED venues are redefining what immersive spaces can look like—from permanent entertainment landmarks to temporary brand activations. In fact, installations across five continents have already proven what this format can deliver at scale. Here are five sphere LED venues from around the world that show the full range of what's possible.
1. MSG Sphere — Las Vegas, USA
Opened: September 2023 · Diameter: 157m · Height: 112m · Capacity: 17,600
MSG Sphere is the world's largest sphere LED venue. Its exterior features 580,000 square feet of programmable LED—visible across the Las Vegas Strip and operating as a continuous media surface around the clock. Inside, a concave 16K wraparound screen covers the entire surface from floor to ceiling, with no flat edges or visible frame. Moreover, every seat includes a haptic system that synchronizes directly with the content. At a cost of $2.3 billion, the Sphere has hosted major artists including U2, Dead & Company, and Eagles. It also introduced "The Wizard of Oz at Sphere" as its first purpose-built cinematic experience, further cementing its status as the largest spherical structure in the world.

2. The Avenues — Kuwait City, Kuwait
Location: The Avenues Mall · Dome Height: 23m · Districts: Electra & Prestige
The Avenues is the largest mall in Kuwait. As part of its expansion, the development introduced two sphere LED venue environments as the architectural focal points of its new districts. Specifically, the Electra district—modeled on the high-technology retail corridors of Kowloon and Ginza—features a rotunda with a full 360° LED display screen, available for brand activations, product launches, and interactive installations. In addition, the Prestige district features a 23-meter-high domed space that anchors the retail environment and connects to the adjacent Arcades district. Together, both installations function as the spatial centerpiece of their respective zones, orienting foot traffic and defining the identity of each district.

3. Naked Eye 3D Dome — Metro City, Shanghai, China
Launched: January 2022 · Panels: 3,888 transparent LED · World's first naked-eye 3D dome
Located at Metro City in Shanghai's Xujiahui district, this sphere LED venue integrates directly into the exterior facade of the building itself. The structure combines 3,888 high-definition 4K screens in a spherical glass frame, each with 55–90% transparency. As a result, it delivers holographic 3D visuals to pedestrians at street level without any special eyewear—at twenty times the resolution of comparable display formats. Furthermore, the transparent structure preserves the building's architectural appearance during the day, while transforming into a full spherical media surface at night. That combination makes it one of the most recognized sphere LED landmarks in Asia.

4. SELA Sphere — Boulevard World, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Achieved: November 2022 · Diameter: 35m · Guinness World Record · Interior: 220 seats
The SELA Sphere at Boulevard World holds the Guinness World Record as the world's largest sphere LED venue by diameter. At 35 meters across, it serves as both an exterior city landmark and a fully operational interior theater. Inside, 220 seats face a complete 360° spherical screen—ceiling, walls, and horizon line—for a fully enclosed immersive experience. The team built the sphere specifically for Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia's annual large-scale entertainment festival. Moreover, a single integrated brief covered the outdoor steel structure, custom LED modules, and spherical content production—ensuring every element worked together from the start.

5. Diana Infinite Sphere — Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi, Vietnam
Event: Diana Than Hoạt Tính Launch · Locations: Landmark 81 (HCMC) & Hanoi Opera House · Format: Sphere LED brand activation
The Diana Infinite Sphere is a sphere LED venue built as a brand activation for Diana Than Hoạt Tính, a Vietnamese consumer brand targeting Gen Z. The installation appeared at two of Vietnam's most iconic urban landmarks—Landmark 81 in Ho Chi Minh City and the forecourt of the Hanoi Opera House—drawing large crowds at both locations. Outside, the sphere LED structure lit up the surrounding plaza with a full 360° programmable surface. Inside, visitors entered an immersive environment where floor-to-ceiling LED panels created a fully enclosed visual experience. Inspired directly by the Las Vegas Sphere, the activation became a viral check-in destination across social media. Furthermore, it demonstrates that the sphere LED venue format is not limited to entertainment or retail—consumer brands can deploy it as a temporary activation to generate the same destination effect in open urban spaces.

Sphere LED Venue Design & Installation
We design and deliver sphere LED venues at every scale—from permanent installations to temporary brand activations. At G-STAR 2025 in Busan, Korea, Dome X built NC CINEMA for NCSOFT: a floor-to-ceiling dome LED theater spanning 2,700m² that became the most photographed booth at Korea's largest gaming exhibition.
